Extremely excited to be sharing all things home (more like Home Goods) tonight! Home decor/design is a passion of mine. My mom has always had the best taste in home decor. Over the years of watching her design our home and help other friends decorate their homes, I quickly grew to love the hobby as my own. I feel like every time I come back home to visit the house looks different, as my mom is constantly moving furniture around, switching rooms, and adding fresh coats of paint to make living spaces feel brand new. Sometimes the smallest changes make big differences.
A large majority of items in my apartment came from random trips to Home Goods or TJ Maxx. That’s kinda my happy place. If I ever need to get out of the office and take a break from looking at a computer screen, you can catch me at Home Goods browsing the aisles for items I do not need but will magically find room for at my house. If I'm bored or had a bad day, you can typically find me at TJ Maxx strolling up and down racks of garments for items my closet does not need but again, will miraculously find room for. That being said, unfortunately everything in tonight's post is not linkable, but, I have found several similar items at great prices!
My eyes are always drawn to whites and neutrals, especially when it comes to home items. I love a classic and crisp setup. My parents actually created this headboard a few summers ago! I found one at Front Gate [ inspo headboard ] for about $2,000+, but my mom assured me that wouldn’t be an issue for she and my dad to make themselves. I of course assisted but they made the work look quite simple. It ended up being a super affordable project. They watched a few YouTube videos for guidance. I think the grandness of a headboard really makes a statement in a bedroom. So if you're wanting a 9 foot headboard, hop on YouTube and get someone to help you make your own!

A living space is something that can completely transform a mood. Few things beat coming home to a place with color palettes and accessories that make YOU happy and excited to be surrounded in. Creating this cozy space with my mom was the most fun. We bounced ideas off of each other and brought a few different styles into the room. My style is typically modern chic, while my mom's is more on the rustic farmhouse side. It's always fun to shop together and brainstorm, colliding the two styles!
